What Is Conditional Probability?
Conditional Probability. We finish the series with conditional probability, which is something useful in many contexts, such as medicine. In some cases, because an event or observation is true, another event or observation increases in likelihood. With that, we've now wrapped up the Elementary Statistics series on SQL In Six Minutes.
If you're interested data, I teach the course Automating ETL, which teaches you how to get data easily so that you can quick analyze data in meaningful ways. If you're looking for a short introduction to T-SQL (a SQL language), check out fast-paced course T-SQL In Two Hours.
Fascinating Statistical Note
What happened to the view-vote ratios on SteemIt? After seeing some very odd patterns with views and votes, we now see the views are gone. Granted, I know why they wanted the view metric gone, as seeing posts with 1000+ votes and 2 views seemed very odd (and was a good warning for advertisers to stay away). Still, reality doesn't change just because a platform removes a metric.
