Up to three percent of T-Mobile customers may have had some of their private information compromised, according to Reuters. The breach was discovered recently and customers who may be at risk were notified. This breach resulted in several million people’s information being compromised, lower than the major Exactis and MyFitnessPal breaches, but still indicative of a trend with US tech firms.

This breach continues the trend we've seen with Exactis along with other breaches and confirms what the Department of Homeland Security warned about a while back. Mobile security doesn't exist and people should consider this when using mobile by limiting how they use their mobile. Most uses of mobile are not appropriate for the platform when someone considers the technology.

Consider how many firms use mobile as a part of their development or part of their communication? If your firm works with mobile or a similar technology, or if you don't understand the weaknesses of the current technology you're using, consider working with our sponsor FinTek Development and their Hidro Security.
