পাট চাষ
আমাদের দেশ চির শান্তির দেশ।এদেশে বিলাসিতার।
দেশ।এখানে যেমন বহুলোক সুখে আরামে কাটায়। তেমনি কিছু লোক যারা সারাদিন কষ্ট করে আমাদের আরামের ব্যবস্থা করে দিচ্ছে।আমরা তাদের ন্যায্য অধিকার দেই না তারা দুবেলা দুমুঠো ঠিকমত খেতে পায় না। তারপরও তারা সুখী।দিন আনে দিন খায় তাদের কোনো লোভ নেই।সরল সোজা জীবন যাপন করে। আমরা সবাই জানি বাংলাদেশ কৃষি প্রধান দেশ। এদেশের বেশিরভাগ লোক কৃষি কাজ করে জীবিকা অর্জন করে। আমাদের দেশের অর্থনীতির প্রায় 25 ভাগ কৃষি থেকে আসে। আর অর্থনীতির মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বড় অবদান পাটের।পাট আমাদের সকল ফসলের মধ্যে অন্যতম একটি ফসল।পাটকে আমাদের দেশে সোনালী আঁশ বলা হয়।কিন্তু বর্তমান পাট চাষ করে কৃষকেরা তেমন অর্থ পায় না। আমাদের ঐতিহ্যবাহী এই ফসল দিন দিন চাষ কমে যাচ্ছে। তাই বলি পাটের দাম বৃদ্ধি করে কৃষকদের আবার পাট চাষ সে আগ্রহ সৃষ্টি করে দেন। পাট অতি মূল্যবান ফসল।
পাট চাষের বর্ননা:
পাট খরিপ-1 মৌসুমী ফসল। পাট সাধারণত মে মাসের মাঝামাঝিতে রোপন করা হয়। পাটকে বর্ষাকালীন ফসল বলা হয়। বর্ষাকালীন ফসল হওয়ায় সেচ তেমন দিতে হয় না তবুও চারা বয়সে সেচ দিতে হয়। পাট ফসলের অতিরিক্ত আগাছা হয় যার কারণে ফসল চাষে খরচ বেশি পরে যায়।
