A week ago Steem Torch went on an adventure to show off how awesome Steem is. It left Emerald City to Europe. After traveling across Europe it took a brief vacation in Asia and came back to Europe for surfing. Then it decided to come back to North America and did a little US tour. Currently, it is sightseeing in Las Vegas. Let's hope it won't gamble it all away. 😊

Thanks to some rather sizable additions the torch is already looking more like a fireball!

I think the total of 10000 'passes' is a bit ambitious but we shall see :)

I think bitcoin lightning torch reached about $80 in ten days. This is more than double that. Quite impressive. Now if it could move it a bit faster :). Apparently, people have a thing called life. :)

As themarkymark pointed out end count was changed to 1337. That number was per your suggestion and Acidyo's prediction. I guess I was overly ambitious with the number.

I think this current number is realistic, and probably it will move faster as more people become aware of the experiment.

It is explained in the SteemTorch Rules post. The 1337th torch keeper will get to decide whether to donate to Steem based charities or projects, or distribute to minnows, or burn.
