The IBF, WBA, and IBO champion of the world in Anthony Joshua only secured those belts as he was able to occupy what the former champion wasn't. Tyson Fury was the once champion of the world, holding 10 belts throughout his career, although never the coveted WBC belts.
The green belts sit on their noble throne with the American heavyweight champion of the world in Deontay Wilder, but the triad of world class heavyweight champions will be settled soon enough... once and for all. Tyson Fury is back, and he is hungrier than ever...
To relinquish his throne in the first place was an immense terror as Tyson travelled to Wladimir Klitschko's homeland and defeated him by decision in front of the legend's people. It was an astounding performance, and showed the Fury could nullify the best fighters in the world at will.
It is crucial to understand that Tyson was mostly unproven until the Klitschko fight, but so was Anthony Joshua.. and we see that both men have absorbed the old guard for their legacy. With Wilder out of the mix for the second, the fans are eager to simply see AJ and Fury vs. anyone of top 10 qualification.
If Anthony Joshua does choose to fight Wilder next, Fury could surely take on a warm up and face a mandatory before becoming the third, yet plausibly most dangerous wheel. Fury in fact signed back with Frank Warren as a tactic, Matchroom Boxing has no place for Fury...

I can not wait to see Tyson back in the mix, I personally feel for being the biggest man, he is also the smoothest with the best footwork. 2018 will bring many surprises in the boxing world..

It's nice to have him back in action. The Heavyweight division gets much more interesting with him back in the mix. Really wanted to see that rematch happen between him and Klitschko, not to take anything away from Furry, but seemed like Wlad gave an average at-best performance in their first fight. That being said, I def want to see him and Joshua square off. I've only seen a little bit of Furry, so it will be interesting to see him back in action for sure and he all brings to the table.
