The Rockets have a 1-0 lead after escaping in the first game by the skin of their teeth, 104-101. James Harden was a beast and put up 44 points in the home victory. He was on fire from deep and hit 7-12 from the 3 point line. He also led the team with 8 assists. Chris Paul did not play well and only made 5-14 shots and with 4 assists. If the Rockets want to win tonight, Paul MUST play better. 6th man Eric Gordon also struggled and had just 7 points.
The Timberwolves defense played well on Sunday but their offense needs to improve if they are going to keep pace with the high scoring Rockets. Andrew Wiggins was the teams high scorer with 18 points but big man Karl-Anthony Towns only had 8 points. He will need to be much more involved in the offensive scheme tonight. Jimmy Butler will also need to step up his scoring as he was held in check and only put up 11 shots.
Tonight’s game should be a fun one. There is a ton of talent on both sides and I expect a much higher scoring game from each team.

Jimmy Buckets Butler Spin 3 could have tied that last one and without the spin probably would have. I'm hoping the TImberbulls come through to make this a raw series!
