The 2018 NFL Draft is almost here and we want to take a look at some of the potential draft SLEEPERS that can be a surprise player in the league. Today let’s look at the running back position. Every one knows about Saquon Barkley, but have you heard of Kalen Ballage? He is a senior running back from the University of Arizona State.

Kalen Ballage is from Peyton, Colorado and put up BIG numbers in High School. He would account for 47 touchdowns and over 3,400 yards. Everyone wanted him including some of the biggest college football programs in the country like Michigan and Nebraska. But Arizona State was the big winner in the recruiting battle.
He didn’t get handed the starting running back position his freshman year though at ASU. He would only play sparingly his first year and would not put up any significant numbers. His sophomore year would be much better and he would finally get a significant amount of carries. Ballage would get the rock 125 times and run for over 600 yards.

Ballage would have a dynamite junior year and go for over 1,000 yards of rushing and receiving. He would get into the end zone 15 times and really made his mark on the college football scene. His senior year would be his best as far as rushing yards. He showed great blocking skills and was one of the most electric players in the PAC-12.
I don’t know when Kalen Ballage will get his name called during the 2018 NFL Draft. But I do know that he has a huge upside and could be one of the steals of the draft.
