Lebron James to the L.A. Lakers

Lebron James is a Los Angeles Laker. Well, not yet, but soon. Rumors have been swirling about the future of Lebron James since the Cavs lost in the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors. James is now only 3-5 in the Finals and there has been trouble in paradise or Cleveland that is, since June.
James has become a ring chaser and sadly, unwilling to remain loyal to the cities, fans, and teammates that have supported him. He broke Cleveland's heart when he bolted for Miami to create the Big 3. He teamed up with Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade to become the most hated team in the league. He stomped all over the city of Cleveland. His live show on espn, “The Decision” was a horrific career move that alienated millions of fans.

And then it happened. James then stomped all over the people of Miami and left them high n dry. His move looked like a genuine attempt to right his wrong and return to the city that he had destroyed just a few years prior. Lebron James was back to Cleveland. The fans forgave and forgot. The hope for a championship was back in a city that desperately wanted one. He had rising superstar Kyrie Irving at point guard, and double double machine, Kevin Love, at forward. A second Big 3 was formed by James.
James delivered the championship that he promised. Cleveland could finally rejoice. But all of that is long gone now. After losing again this year in the NBA Finals, James chased one of the best players in the league away from the Cavs. Kyrie Irving was sent to Boston in the dumbest move in the NBA in years. Cleveland has NO CHANCE at winning the NBA Finals without Irving. Nice work Lebron.
Now, there is one final scenario that is going to unfold next off season. Lebron James will opt out of Cleveland and sign as a free agent with the Los Angeles Lakers. This is a done deal. The only thing that remains, is who will join him? Will talented guard and L.A. homebody Paul George join him? Will Carmelo make his way out West? The Lakers have some exciting young talent with Ball and Ingram. And who wouldn't want to live in L.A. with all that money.

The irony here is that when James signs with the Lakers and leaves the Eastern Conference, he will leave it extremely watered down. The ONLY dominant team left will be…..Kyrie Irving’s Boston Celtics! The Celtics will be in the NBA Finals for the foreseeable future. And Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers will have NO shot at winning the Western Conference and making the NBA Finals. He will be in NBA hell and never have a chance at another ring. I suppose this will be a fitting end to the career of a man who not only once, but twice, shit all over his hometown and the city of Cleveland.
What do you think of Lebron James going to the Lakers next year? Thanks for following @steemsports and you can catch me @scottybuckets Cheers!

This article exemplifies click bait.

The headline that is, I like the article. I just actually went onto my social media feeds and ESPN to see if it was true....

Thanks for reading. Just a provocative headline.

Everyone is speculating this but I don't see it happening, I think he retires as a Cav

If he goes West he will never win again. Golden State will run him and LA over year-after-year. Him plus PG-13 or Melo would be as bad as Kobe and Dwight ere...too many chefs in the kitchen., too many egos to fill and stat lines to stuff for them to all remain happy. If LeBron goes to LA the Kobe comparisons would be off the charts as well. His best bet? Stay in the much less competitive East and force CLE to make moves to keep him happy and compeititve w/ Boston.

What if he joined GSW? hehe. Just thinking of it makes me laugh.
(btw there would be waaay to many chefs than)

The culture in LA is changing with Magic Johnson. Lonzo Ball could be a great low-volume shooter who has a huge impact on games. Jason Kidd esque. Lebron has a home there, career ambitions. If he goes there, I expect them to be extremely competitive. Kobe missed the playoffs after Shaq left. Wade had terrible years missing the playoffs. Pierce - same thing before KG and Allen. Lebron is the only guy in the league who can make the conference finals and win 50 games with any team in the league. Will be great to see him square off against KD in the same division........

Lebron - KD - same division....good for the NBA?

He will be a laker unless big moves happen in Cleveland this year..

I expect the cavs to do everything they can this year to keep him

I wish he would just retire...

I have been waiting for this day!!!!!!

FACT: If king James joins LA..it will be his next NBA Championship.
There is too much competition in the west, and he will finally have a good playoff look at tough games leading to the western conference finals!

King LeBron has House in LA

na.. not true

I've always had a passion for hating LeBron. I don't really care where he ends up but I certainly hope it's a disaster.

Great for him.
