El equipo turines comienza la serie a recibiendo en su estadio a Cagliari en la búsqueda de los 3 primeros puntos del campeonato. Este encuentro luce como uno muy fácil debido a que históricamente han dominado con 21 victorias, 10 victorias y 4 derrotas.

Pero debemos de recordar de que a pesar que la Juventus es el campeón vigente se han ido piezas clave de las victorias de la temporada pasada, como Bonucci y Dani Alves, por lo cual Allegri deberá de ajustar nuevamente el accionar del equipo en conjunto con los nuevos jugadores que se han incorporado a la plantilla.

Igualmente en la Supercopa de Italia se observaron muchas deficiencias que llevaron al equipo dirigido por Allegri a no hacerse con este trofeo perdiendo el encuentro en el último minuto por un marcador muy ajustado de 3-2, rescatando la loable labor de Dybala, que se estrenaba usando la 10, y gracias a quien la Juventus logro empatar el encuentro con un marcador de 2-2 en los últimos minutos con un tiro libre espectacular y un penalti.

Es hora de que los campeones comiencen la defensa de su titulo.

Habiendo logrado un puesto 11 en la tabla final de la temporada previa da mucho que decir del buen desempeño que logro este modesto equipo la temporada pasada y con varias incorporaciones de jugadores que formaban parte de equipos de gran renombre en Italia, Romagna (Juventus), Miangue(Inter) y Andreolli(Inter), buscan reforzar la línea defensiva y de esta manera mejorar su desempeño al sufrir menos goles en contra.

Otro punto a su favor es que su técnico ha estado con el equipo desde el 2015 y conoce a fondo su plantilla, por lo cual podría sacar provecho de la mala situación en la que llega Juventus a este encuentro luego de perder la Supercopa, y sorprender a todos con un resultado favorable en el estadio de la Juventus.
