You are so lucky that you've got to play. It's really picking up traction where I live as well. I'm more of a hoops girl. Only other sports in my area were soccer and softball. Those weren't physical enough for me. I wanted to either play football or hockey but there were no teams at all as an option. But now everything is starting to take off.
I just found out the other day that there are a few pro women's hockey leagues. (NWHL and CWHL) I had NO idea. It needs to be promoted better. I'm sure you agree. : )
