Toronto Maple Leafs

##Team1 Logo

The Leafs are in rebuild mode folks. They tanked last year and were able to win the first draft pick in the lottery to draft Austin Matthews. The young Leafs have shown moments of brilliance but it will be a few years until this team is winning consistently. Expect the Wild to win.
##Standings

##Team 1 Lineup

So Far This Season:

The Leafs are 10-9-5 which keeps them just out of last place in their division. Expect more bumps in the road as this young team gains confidence and experience.

The Toronto Maple Leafs (officially the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club) are a Canadian professional ice hockey team based in Toronto, Ontario. They are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The team is one of the "Original Six" league members. They are owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, Ltd. and are represented by Chairman Larry Tanenbaum. In February 1999, they moved to the Air Canada Centre, which replaced Maple Leaf Gardens, the team's home since 1931.

The franchise was founded in 1917, operating simply as Toronto and known today as the Toronto Arenas, as it was operated by the Toronto Arena Company, owners of the Arena Gardens arena. In 1919, the NHL transferred the franchise to new owners who christened the team the Toronto St. Patricks. The franchise was sold in 1927 and was renamed the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club. The team colors are navy blue and white.

The Maple Leafs have won thirteen Stanley Cup championships, second only to the 24 championships of their primary rival, the Montreal Canadiens. They won their last championship in 1967. Their 48-season drought between championships is currently the longest in the NHL.

With an estimated worth of US$1.3 billion, the Leafs are the most valuable franchise in the NHL, followed by the New York Rangers and the Montreal Canadiens. In 2015, they were ranked by Forbes as the 37th most valuable sports team in the world (and the only NHL team to be in the top 50).

Minnesota Wild

##Team2 Logo

The Wild are coming off an overtime victory to the Edmonton Oilers - 2-1. They have been consistent so far in the quarter way point of the season. They will likely dominate the Leafs tonight. Complacency is their biggest enemy tonight.

##Standings

Team2 Lineup>

So Far This Season:

The Wild are 12-8-5 which put them in 3rd place. This team has all of the components it needs to win. Look for them to take this game from the Leafs.

The Minnesota Wild are a professional ice hockey team based in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. They are members of the Central Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL).[2] The Wild are the only one of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area's major professional sports league franchises to play in St. Paul; the other three play in Minneapolis.

The new team was founded on June 25, 1997, but started playing in the 2000-01 NHL season. The Wild were the first NHL franchise in Minnesota since the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas in 1993. They lost their first game, 3–1, to the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and recorded their first win against the Tampa Bay Lightning five games later.[3] The Wild play at the Xcel Energy Center.[4] In the 2002–03 season, the team made its first Stanley Cup playoff appearance, making a surprising run to the Western Conference Finals.[5] As of 2015, the Wild have averaged a .537 points percentage since entering the league.

Support SteemSports Ultimate Vote Betting … together we all can win!

How to Play

  • Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).

  • Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).

  • After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.

The Stake Pool:

  • The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.

  • 30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.

  • 70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.

  • Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.

  • Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.

  • Vote Percentage Requirements : Players with less than 100 000 Steem Power (SP) are required to vote main post with at least 50% and players with more than 100 000 SP are required to vote main with at least 10%.

  • Comments may then be voted with any percentage, but we do encourage all players to vote main and comment with as much power as possible to help distribute SP and create employment for writers and editors.

  • Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

  • In the event of a draw/tie and such vote option was omitted by @steemsports for any reason, the game will result in all players being paid out regardless of which draw/tied outcome voted.

  • @steemsports in the unlikely event that when the Stake Pool is divided up between the winners and the nomenclature resolution goes below the third decimal place (example: 0.0001), then Steem decimal restrictions won’t allow a payout and the pool will carry over to the next game.
  • Please vote responsibly :).

WILD ! T.O. Sucks and they have sucked for a long time ! 👍😉

Let not get carried away.. Minnesota has never won a thing.. The best thing for the North Stars was moving to Dallas - a couple years later they were conference championships and won a Stanley Cup. Hockey is measured in Stanley Cups - nobody remembers who lost in the first round.

Lol haha! Sorry but im from British Columbia Canada and You cant tell me Toronto is any good ! Lol! Neither one of them are ! But I still like Minnesota more ! Toronto has pissed me off too many times, and im a huge hockey fan ! Plus they have had 10 wins 9 losses ! They are playing at home , so thats the only thing they have going for them ! Steeming on ! 👍😉

That explains it.

LOL ! 😂👍😂
