Here is a Picture Taken From a Camera Suspended from a Kite in 1906 of That Same San Francisco Mint After the Devastating 1906 Earthquake and Fire That Destroyed Many of the Structures for Blocks around The Mint...................

Many FIAT Systems will come and go and many Buildings will not stand after an Earthquake and a Fire, But Gold and The Old Mint are Eternal...........................

A beautiful coin and the backstory of it. Thank you.

Sexy piece and nice commentart buddy

@stokjockey fantastic gold piece there!! Your words could not be more true my friend. Bad decisions and bad disasters take their toll, but the intrinsic value in precious metals endures. I am saving up for my first ounce of gold or my first pre-1933. Still got to figure out what to get, but these post all help me. Thanks for sharing!!

Thank You @dwingsworld I am glad you enjoy the GOLD as much as I enjoy sharing the Pictures...............

I also have an "S" $20 Liberty, about 20 years older. It's interesting to realize that this is 49er type of gold, mined in the California mountains and streams. Thanks @stokjockey for looking up the history of the coins.

@rollingthunder Yes it is GOLD RUSH Sutter's Mill type Stuff..............

Very cool story. They sure don't build them like that anymore. That building has seen some disasters. Oh and that coin is really sweet. Thanks for sharing.

@vgholdingsllc Thank you for dropping by and always being a supporter of SHINY Content........

You're always posting some great stuff. I can't help but stop and check it out.

And David Argento gave us the latest video of that same mint a few weeks ago with it's sturdy walls, fences and unsightly video cameras and I thought it was illegal to video a Federal building.

You are on point. Good is eternal

@fatherfaith Yes Real Money and Good are Eternal..........

I wondwr how well the fed building is going to hold up?

@thedamus I am sure that will not hold UP Well.................

Rotting from the inside out!
