GOLD BUYS MORE THAN YOU THINK...
How many times would you guess, that a Single Ounce of Gold has purchased a New Suit of Clothing...???
What becomes of that Ounce of Gold after it buys a New Suit of Clothing...???
That Ounce of Gold is then used to buy something else...
Perhaps it's used to pay wages to a hard worker...
That hard worker uses it to buy something and so on and so forth...
The Ounce of Gold keeps buying and buying and buying...
In Fact, It's hard to imagine how many New Suits of Clothing, that Single Ounce of Gold has purchased over the years...
Perhaps someone exchanges it for Cash to pay some Bills...
It finally makes it way to me, and I toss it in with my pile of Gold...
Who knows... Some day, I may want a New Suit of Clothing...
This was just a passing thought, I wanted to share with the Community...

I love the way the "It buys a new suit" gets used over and over. The other is, we spend hundreds of man-hours finding the stuff, melt and remelt it, just to be placed under ground and guarded once again. Funny metal but it has held value for such a long time, as posted below, as it cannot be destroyed, unique property for the shiny.
So what do you 'value' good sir? ether (STEEMIT / nothingness)? Until the Good Lord calls us home - gold is the human value scale we are driven by - game set & match.
Can you imagine how many New Suits of Clothing that same Ounce of Gold has Purchased over the Past Thousands of Years...??? There's always someone willing to accept it as payment, as it makes its way from one person to the next and the next and the next... I like Gold...

It's very obvious to me that you're new to Steemit-Ville... I'll up-vote you because I can see you're making an effort, but you shouldn't use the same replies on everyone's post... If anyone checks your comments it becomes very clear what you're doing... Just try to make all your comments different, depending on who's post you're commenting on... Use my comment as an example... Just be real and people will take notice...
Not many people realize this but - the reason gold is so valuable as a commodity is - it cannot be destroyed.
Now that you've mentioned it, I can't remember seeing a Gold Coin, worn out in the same manner I've seen Silver Coins worn out...
