Here's My Proof!

Sup guys! I know everyone is really excited about the new 2019 Steemit round this year, especially me! It's coming down to the wire for voting. It's a really close race between the top three designers and I wish them all the best of luck. I had an extremely difficult time this year deciding on which design to vote for because they are all very cool. Here are the final three in no particular order:

If you would like to vote for a particular design, head over to @raybrockman's page and cast away.

Although I haven't been active in a while, I've actually been a SSG member since it started back in the day and I have both the 2017 and 2018 Steemit rounds. I also have #111 for both years as well with a C.O.A. as you can see in the main picture.

I've actually read two different things about reserving specific numbered rounds this year. One post read that you would only be able to reserve a round below 100, while the other post read a higher number. I was kinda worried at first since mine was #111 but then I happened to remember something...🤔

On the first year production run, @raybrockman bought extra rounds with COA's, put them in a snazzy display box and took it a step further by guaranteeing that whomever bought these off of him would be guaranteed the same number for the following years for the series. I instantly jumped on #111 as you can see here.

Now, the only reason that I'm even making a post about this is because even the best memories fade, especially mine. I had actually forgotten about this deal and even the premium that I paid for it. I had read that proof was required to reserve specific numbers so instead of explaining all of this over and over again to possibly different people in the future, voila, now I can just provide a link and all should be good to go. I will also post a link to Ray's original post from 2 years ago (yeah, took me a while to find it) just for reference at the bottom of this page.

There's already been a few people that have asked if I would be willing to sell my #111 set. I've been sticking to my guns and holding strong by not parting with them yet and I have actually been offered a very handsome price by someone that really likes the number 111 lol. So technically, no, I don't want to sell my set. But I also believe that you should never say that something isn't for sale either, because everything has a price...usually at least. I guess it depends on how much three ones side by side means to ya lol. I'm not saying anything though because my badge numbers, motorcycle racing numbers and things like that have a lot of meaning to me and I've bought things just because of the number it had on it so...🤷‍

You guys have a great day and be sure to get your vote in on your favorite design!

YOU GOTTA DO IT RIGHT

Thank you for making this post! The voting is soooooo close. I check in like 20 times a day. 🤣😂🤣

How cool with the cases for the first year! I wasn’t part of ssg until last year, but I did manage to get my hands on one of bearone’s rounds and then ordered three of welshstacker’s. It would be so cool to one with my design on it!

Thanks for digging around for all this old info about the guarantee etc. Memories totally fade and people come and go from Steemit, so this is very helpful.

Have a great day!

Thanks for replying! I was beginning to wonder if people even left replies anymore on here lol. Steemit has definitely changed from what it was a few years ago unfortunately. I'm afraid the whole bot thing has really tarnished this platforms reputation beyond repair. I hope I'm wrong and I really hope that things will bounce back soon.

I can't imagine how excited you must be, that's really something to be proud of! Good luck!

Yeah, this place has definitely slowed down. I am not sure if it is bots or if people came here for “easy money” when the steem price was high and then left when the reward stopped paying for their investment of time.

I stick around for the people. Sadly a lot of the people keep leaving. It’s a shame. When steemit was hopping is was super fun.
