STEEMPUNK-NET Update No. 12

Hi all and be welcome to the Weekly Newsletter Number 12!

Updated to newest STEEM API --> less lags!

Thanks to our brilliant development team we have been able to update to the most recent STEEM API and in doing so reduced massively the lags we had during the last weeks!
Now we are getting very good performance and have the data within our mysql database in roundabout a minute!, this is improving the game performance and feedback drastically!

Started to implement the "build your house" concept

It took us quite a while, but now we are ready to roll and have already started to implement our "build your house" concept within STEEMPUNK-NET. Please take a look here if you want to have a glimpse of our first GUI proposals ;)
I can tell you we are super excited and our designers are already working on the artworks to fit into that grid

Character Artwork contest up and running: WIN 50 STEEM! --> here

We launched our very first task request via Utopian.io and in doing so have opened the contest to draw our 4 Characters that we are having in game. We want to have new and improved graphics and give out 50 Steem as prize to the winner, drawing both Adventurer(male&female) and Aristocrat(male&female)!

What else are we currently working on?

• Rewrite of the inventory code to be more flexible
• Written a concept for storing items directly on the steem blockchain (YAY!)
• @dksart is writing a proposal for the administration of our housing parameters

Hallo zusammen und Willkommen zum Update Nummer 12 von STEEMPUNK-NET!

Auf die neuste STEEM API upgedated --> weniger lags!

Dank unseres brillianten Development Teams konnten wir auf die neuste Steem API updaten und haben dadurch weniger Lags und mehr Performance.
Wir haben jetzt Daten aus der Blockchain innerhalb einer Minute in der Mysql Datenbank, das führt zu einem besseren Spielerlebnis und direkterem Feedback!

Wir haben die Umsetzung des "Hausbau" Konzeptes gestartet!

Es hat uns eine Weile gekostet, aber wir sind jetzt soweit und legen mit der Umsetzung des Konzeptes zum Hausbau innerhalb von STEEMPUNK-NET los. Wenn ihr einen ersten Eindruck des Fortschritts bekommen wollt schaut hier
Wir sind total gespannt und unsere Designer haben schon mit den Artworks begonnen!

Wir haben unseren allerersten Task Request über Utopian gestartet und suchen begeisterte Designer und Künstler die unsere derzeitigen Charaktere innerhalb des Spiels neu gestalten. Wir haben derzeit den Abenteurer(männlich&weiblich) und den Aristokraten(männlich&weiblich) und haben einen Preis von 50 STEEM für den Gewinner ausgesetzt!
Der Contest läuft bis zum 23.01.2018 um Mitternacht CET.

• Neuschreiben des Inventars um es flexibler zu gestalten
• Fertigstellen eines Konzeptes um die Items direkt auf der Steem Blockchain zu speichern (YAY!)
• @dksart schreibt an einem Vorschlag zur Verwaltung der Raumeigenschaften
