The Price of Steem Never Looked so ScrumptioussteemCreated with Sketch.

I for one am quite happy to see the "correction" after the insane move a week or two ago. For me, the lower it goes in the next week the better. This is only because I have plans to double my stake in Steem, and am hoping for the best price possible, but no funds until the 1st. I suppose this might sound a bit self-absorbed, however I feel Steem at this price is a no-brainer.

I hope people took notice of the way it moved last time, I feel that was minuscule, just a warning eruption to this massive mountain waiting to explode. I remember a little over a year ago saying this same stuff about ETH when I was invested at 90 cents...

Did you hear who joined the team? @zurvanic from this post today by @Ned. " There are big changes coming," "Please welcome a new addition to our team, Mitchell Loureiro, who will be heading up our new marketing effort! Mitchell has an ambitious strategy planned that we hope you’ll want to be a part of. But I don’t want to reveal too much!"

Marketing is what Steem needs right now, and crypto folks are looking for places to put their wounded bitcoin.

Cheers Steemians!

STEEM is one of the best crypto, imo :) Price will show it soon :)

I have no doubt!

I agree with you @gregm.
we have the same vision regarding Steems future and potential .
All the best ...

Very good! It seems many share our thoughts.

Well yes, it looks like that .

Yup. A very wise and savvy art collector just bought three of my oils. I'm anxiously awaiting the check so I can get more Steem and DASH. 😎

Awesome! And congrats on the sale!

Thanks! @gregm

feelin that' with ya here

I had a feeling it wasn't just me.

Agreed, sir. I've increased my stake substantially and hope to do so again.

Awesome! Get them cheap while you can!

I have been saying STEEM = 1 cent since new year, but the bottom looks like it was 7 cent. I will refrain from price predictions, at least for a while. I will say that the price could go even lower, because of the need for distribution of STEEM.

I think similar to you, as I also want to buy at lower prices.

In this wild market anything can happen, but I agree STEEM is way better then any other crypto, so at one point STEEM should be priced around +$77, when the market have realized that STEEM has the best technology.

Thats also why I made this open letter for Amanda B. Johnson, yesterday: https://steemit.com/dashistrash/@lasseehlers/dash-is-trash-open-invitation-to-amanda-b-johnson

1 cent would have been nice, but I never thought it would go that low, well I never thought 7 cents either.

I feel right now Steem should be trading at $1.

Great post, cheers!

Thanks a lot, makes me happy that we have steemit and $1 would be great, I am sure it will come soon.

Resteemed and followed.

It's funny you say this because last night I was talking to @deearchi about how the two things that a crypto needs to become moon-bound, one is that the platform has to be somehow addictive (I believe that the proposed flatter reward curve that diminishes the excessive influence of whales will make the bottom of the rewards distribution move up, which will make small, new authors more motivated to continue to develop their audience), and the second thing it needs is marketing.

It cannot be denied that, although it was ostensibly bad news when @dan resigned, but when @ned announced that @sneak was taking @dan's position, BAM! up went the price like crazy. I think that what happened was because this was a big story, it flooded through the crypto-blogosphere, and that's what pulled all the attention in. The key to marketing a crypto is keeping the name on the various well read blogs about cryptos on a regular basis, which means sometimes even perhaps stunts and pranks to simply get a writeup made about it by independent parties.

If Steem can be a regular topic in blogs, the price goes up, and the effect will be compounding, so I am very pleased to hear that Steemit, Inc. has hired someone to work on making that happen.

Thanks for the great comment. I couldn't agree with you more about marketing and an addictive aspect. Money is always an addictive aspect, but not when it becomes a frustration. The whale experiment has been pretty cool.

I am excited to see what the marketing plans are, I think it will happen quickly.

good posting...^^

Then the price jumped.
