Importance of teaching our children the Value of Solidarity. (Tapaton 2019-A wonderful experience)2nd Edition

Hello friends of @steemiteducation, last year I had the opportunity to be in a wonderful event organized by the FUNDACIÓN TAPAS ANZOATEGUI, during the last 4 years, it is about the TAPATON, which is an event that has the support of sponsors of the private and public company, perform a series of activities designed to share with family, the enjoyment of children and their welfare, to raise funds to be directed and donated to the LUIS RAZZETTI ONCOLOGICAL HOSPITAL of the State of Anzoategui, Venezuela, through the recycling of plastic caps and pots that are sold and exchanged.

Tapaton 2019

The edition of this year was made yesterday, it was an event full of good energy, positivism, family union and above all SOLIDARITY and EMPATHY with children with a diagnosis as difficult as Cancer is.

The crucial importance of this event in addition to fundraising from my point of view is to make people aware, especially the little ones about the importance of SOLIDARITY and to be able to help the most needy without expecting anything in return, by putting our own needs on the one hand to provide support to a person in need at its most vulnerable moment.

A phrase that catches my attention and that I see fit to mention at this moment is the one that says:

"Bridging is the work when many share fatigue" - Homero.

We as parents have the duty and responsibility to educate our children with the vision that they are men and women of good and involve them and instill in them the true value and the true purpose of this type of event, it will help us to strengthen them and inculcate them what it is and the importance of SOLIDARITY.

The event was great, there were attractions for the youngest with elastic beds and castles, but most importantly, there was a vaccination day for children up to 15 years old, they gave them all the vaccines that the children needed and one in special that is the Measles and Rubella since there is an outbreak in our state where almost 800 confirmed cases have been recorded approximately.

The friends of Dr Payaso, accompanied the event, these magical clowns visit the children inside the Oncologico hospital and make their stay happy and pleasant so that they can cope a bit with their clinic while they receive their treatments !!

The event involved many organizations that are aimed at providing support to these children and who live in the Hospital, such as **Guardian Angels **, which is an organization that is always looking for new members to serve as guardians and support the children throughout this process, the friends of ** Purple Cross ** who provide medical support not only to these children but to the entire population in general at the time or circumstance that needs it, and the ** Psychosocial Support Foundation ** which is inside the hospital and is integrated by a group of professional psychologists and sociologists who care for these children and help them psychologically as economically.

The noble friends of Boys Scouts could not miss, as always providing all possible support.

There were many exhibitions of handicrafts made with recycled materials whose sale was aimed at fundraising for the Foundation, as well as the exhibition of all the sponsors who made the event possible and achieve the objective set.

It was a family event where my beautiful daughter Sophia could not stop participating and she even won a prize along with her dad, really that events like these are what are needed to motivate, encourage and above all educate people about values of great importance as they are the GENEROSITY, SOLIDARITY AND COMPASSION.

I invite you to inculcate your children from small these concepts and contribute in their training as people of good, these events are a clear example of what we have to be as a society and serve to give you a small sample of what we can do together and function of a common good.
