New Beginnings - Relaunching my WP Blog

Social media has broken down barriers on how people can make their own star shine nowadays. There are various avenues you can use as a way to get noticed. With perseverance and a lot(!) of hard work, one can strive to be an influencer in Facebook or Instagram, or maybe a star in YouTube like gamer @Pewdiepie, or food blogger Mark Wiens among others or even at Twitch, wherever your dreams may take you, their will always be a way for you to be heard in this day and age.

But for me, my inclination has always been to Blogging (yes, with a "B"!). Not that i have anything against Vloggers, it's just that I have always found great joy and ease in writing down my thoughts rather than saying them out loud in front of a camera. And i think, that i am one of the diminishing few that stills enjoys reading and writing a good post, rather than watching it. With the emergence of YouTube today as a powerful medium to advance career wise, my satisfaction comes from penning a story from a unique experience i had, and knowing that others enjoy reading it. After much self searching, I am sure this is my calling, my element. From now on, i will write as many experiences as i can, - things seen, places visited, people met- as long as i have strength and opportunity.

I have also finalized the medium that i will use. I am going with a WP blog site because it is very easy to customize, with many plugins you can use to make an interesting Blog. Although it is a bit difficult to be monetized here than in Blogger, i decided to stick with WordPress. If ever i would be rewarded financially for my efforts later on, that'll just be a bonus. It will come naturally with consistency. And you can only be consistent, if you do what you truly love. More to come, God willing.
