The definition of believe
From Oxford Dictionary, believe means accept that (something) is true, especially without proof, hold (something) as an opinion; think.
Other definition from Cambridge Dictionary, believe means to think that something is true, correct, or real.
The two definitions agree that believe is something that we do as we think that something true, even without evidence.
Why must we believe?
Recent research in psychology has found a new fact that you are what you believe.
Something that we perceive is what we believe. Beliefs create and dictate attitudes, attitudes create and dictate our responds, responds then create and dictate our feelings. Feelings would largely determine our behaviours.
What will we get by believing?
Whatever we believe and feel to be true long enough, will become reality.
By our beliefs, many things created. Vision, strength of will, resilience and also activations born from what we believe.

Walt Disney "dream it, believe it, achieve it"
Joel Osteen "i believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you're grateful, you'll see God open up a new door."
Eleanor Roosevelt "the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams"
What does the scripture say about believing?
- Receive Matthew 21:22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.
- All things become possible Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
Mark 11:23
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
What are we doing while we are also believing?
- Pray First of all we need to pray to God to all what we believe.
- Try your best Make plans to reach what you dream for, the proper targets and improve your abilities to go and get it.
- Be patient Already prayed, tried your best and all of possibilites but haven't reached what you believe? Be patient and never give up in trying your best, let God do the rest.
