Sudoku, as a learning strategy.

in #steempress5 years ago (edited)

Teaching children how to play sudoku stimulates and improves their mathematical, logical and critical thinking skills. This is a great learning tool because it helps strengthen reasoning and computing skills through its development. Create greater confidence in children to solve math problems because they feel more comfortable with numbers. Frequent practice improves the mental capacities of reasoning and calculation.

History

Sudoku is an online flash game based on the famous number puzzle game. It was popularized in 1986 by the Japanese magazine Nikoli, which began to be printed for the first time, but in 2005 a wave of international recognition emerged. Since then, sudoku puzzles have occupied an important place in magazines and newspapers, are published in separate collections and become a form of leisure.

The rules of the game.

The traditional Sudoku has a playing field: a square of 9x9, divided into smaller squares with a side of 3 cells (the complete game field consists of 81 cells). Initially there are some numbers (from 1 to 9) - tips. It is required that the player fill the free cells with numbers from 1 to 9 so that in each row, in each column (in other words, vertically and horizontally) and in each small square of 3 × 3, each digit occurs only once. In the game below, you can choose the level of difficulty.

  • The sudoku is played in a square of 9x9 divided into small squares (cells) 3x3 called "areas":
  • Sudoku starts with several cells already full of numbers:
  • The goal of the Sudoku game is to fill the empty cells with numbers between 1 and 9 (a single brand only 1 number) according to the following instructions:
  1. Figures can only appear once in each row:
  2. The numbers can only appear once in each column:
  3. The figures can only appear once in each area:
The summary of the rule is that a number must appear once in each row, column and area.

Solution

The complexity of the sudoku does not depend on the number of cells initially filled, but on the methods that will be used to solve it. The simplest ones are resolved by deduction: there is always at least one cell where only one number fits. Some puzzles can be solved in a few minutes, others can spend hours.

The well-composed riddle has only one solution. However, in some websites on the Internet, under the appearance of complicated puzzles, the user is offered several variants of sudoku solutions.
