Made my first SteemMonsters purchase. A simple step by step
Just out of sure curiosity I wanted to see how easy or difficult it would be to buy a #steemmonsters card on the open market....
Well it turns out, its incredibly simple.
I'll run you through a very quick step by step on how I did it.
Firt off head over to the "market" page in #steemmonsters
Pick the monster you might be interested in. I went for the pit ogre because they are cheap and this is just a trial.
Using the "level box" pick the level of monster you are interested in.
Little tip; search through the levels individually, sometimes higher level monsters actually work out cheaper depending on how much the owner wants for them.
This is a great example of why it's good to search individual levels. This level 3 Pit Ogre is much cheap than the rest, so let's get this 1.
Click/highlight the one you want and choose the payment method you want.
I chose steem.
Continue by hitting "buy"
It automatically converts the current $value in to the steem equivalent. For ease of use and by virtue I already have a #steemconnect account I picked that.
And just like magic.... POOF!!!
The card appears in your collection.
And just for confirmation, check your wallet to see if the steem has been taken.
Like I said, a very easy and straightforward method of buying the cards you really need.
The other way is to obviously beg..... So if anyone wants to send me a "MALRIC INFERNO" so that I can actually use my level 3 Pit Ogre, that would be appreciated. 😉

Thank @stockjockey it was the card I needed to take me to a level 3 summoner. Then I realised I can use the level 3 card as I'm stuck below the 1000 points to get me out of the lower leagues. I keep getting to 990+ then crash back to 800's... It's getting on my nerves now.
