Actually it's hard to reach top ten because you have to build a strong deck and it costs a lot of money to build. I don't if it's good to spend a lot of money on digital assets but as long as game will keep being popular then nothing to worry. Also there are lots of incentives for the people who will be stay at top 50. Now rewards for top players will be more fairly distributed. If before only top 10 got rewards now you can get 10 or 20 booster packs for staying at top 50 if I'm not mistaken. If you were an early adopter in october or november you could get free booster packs for free to build your deck but now it's harder.
