Frost Giant Lore, Building the Steem Monsters' World

This is my first attempt at writing lore for the Steem Monster's world. This is a rough draft, and nothing is set in stone or approved by the Steemmonster's build team. I don't have access to see the entire list of characters, so it makes writing in other characters difficult, as I can only see what cards I have and others have shared. Also, I'm also not sure how long of a bio you guys are looking for on these characters, but I'm guessing 1 page or 5 paragraphs should be enough to cover a lot of things. I can elaborate on, or exclude anything that's been written so far. Since giants are apart of Norse lore, I thought it would be fun to tie in a bit of their mythology. Let me know what you think. Frost Giant

Jarl Aegir Frostbelly is the king of the frost giants. They live deep in the northern mountains of Niflheim, one of the coldest and darkest places in the realm. Aegir is feared not only by his fellow frost giants, but anyone who dares live within his territory. He towers over 20’ tall and weighs in at nearly 1.5 tons.

Aegir’s thirst for blood and wealth knows no bounds. The nearby town of Midgar makes sacrifices to keep his forces from raiding and pillaging at will. When the townspeople fail to meet his demands, he descends upon the town, hurling giant frozen boulders and laying waste to the townspeople with his enormous battleaxe. Aegir is also known to summon tsunami waves to wreck cargo ships, and then plunders any treasure they may be carrying.

The Jarl’s ancient enemy is the Spirit of the Forest. Her and her allies to the south keep Aegir from expanding his territory into the forest lands. If it weren’t for his weakness to the Earthen elements, his empire would be ever-expanding.

Aegir maintains relations with the Forces of Fire, because of their weakness to his Water and Ice abilities. In return for the homage they pay him, he will not attack unless provoked. Sometimes, he will call upon Fire Demons to set ablaze the local villages to not risk losing any of his own forces.

The ancient dragons will sometimes pay visit to Aegir and trade goods. They have a respect for Aegir because of their equal lust for power and glory. When the Forest people push Aegir’s forces back, he will bribe the dragons with Gold to have them join forces.

I've been stewing on a few of the cards myself for back stories. I like the your start. I'll write mine up tonight or tomorrow and see if it can be a worthy start too.

Yeah! It’s finally been released, get ready to battle! Cool story man.

I am unfamiliar with the project. But it sounds like something you will have fun with.
