I have decided to give all of the end-of-season reward cards to the winner of this contest. The account has earned 26 reward cards so far this season with 10 days remaining.
Great initiative, mellofello. For a second, I thought I would cheat and sign up with my @itisjustme account, so I would be able to boost my experiment, but it wouldn't be fair, lol. (Besides, I reached Gold with that account last season, so it wouldn't qualify anyway...)
I'll be resteeming, though.
And maybe this is a great opportunity to get a taste of the higher leagues and earn a little extra for @bxlphabet?
I’m glad you didn’t enter for yourself. This is meant to help a potential new SteemMonster player get a feeling of the game or help a current player with limited resources. Thanks hope the winner will win some high end prizes and then pay it forwards with more SteemMonster contests or prizes of his/her own.

I was only asking if he would be interested. He's building a deck from scratch without investing any fiat, and this might be a chance to boost his account.
Maybe, because I think it'll be a tough challenge for players with little experience to play a level 6 deck and get comfortable enough with it to win some prizes within one week. I'm very curious to see how this will work out :0)
(For the record, I may try to bend the 'rules' a little on SteemIt sometimes, but I would never actually cheat like that)
Buildinging a competitive deck from scratch without investing will take some insane patience and dedication. I applaud the effort.

I was kidding, but I definitely have it in me to cheat. I did a whole lot of cheating in my past. Knowing that I'm more than capable of it, now allows me to be honest by choice :0)
I've been building the deck for the last three seasons, I think. I'm not using any extra money, but I do grab every chance I have here on Steem to earn something extra I can spend on cards. It's a challenge, I admit. But an interesting one. :0)
I learned a whole lot, and was again surprised by the amazing goodwill of the community. During one of the first weeks I published this post, in which I asked people if they wanted to send the cards they weren't using.
It was actually a big deal for me, because I don't like asking for things - I prefer giving, lol. But it seemed like it was worth a try. The only reason I had the guts to write it was because back then, no one knew who was behind the account. I was - once again - amazed by the generosity of people. (And surprisingly, it turned out to be one of the best posts I've ever written.)
Meanwhile, I have most summoners up to level 3, but it required some sacrifices. I sold my entire Life splinter, for example. I don't play Life anyway, lol. But it still isn't a competitive deck, because those legendary monsters are simply too expensive.
I started the experiment as a form of protest against Steemmonsters management, and the fact that they don't care about the smaller users. I actually wanted to prove that it was impossible for people who didn't have the money to invest, to build a deck. But it seems like I will be getting there eventually... just a couple more cards and I might be able to join a 'no legendary' bronze tournament. :0)

Hi @mellofello. Thank you for creating this contest! Although I've been a member of Steemit for "23 moons" I have only recently become aware of Steem Monsters. In fact, I hadn't heard of this game before last week and only created an account today.
I spent the last few days reading posts and watching videos about Steem Monsters to see if it was something I would be interested in. Back in High School I used to play Magic: The Gathering. I bet playing Steem Monsters will bring back some pleasant memories. I literally haven't played a single round yet as I'm typing this comment. Just been reading the official FAQ, familiarizing myself with the platform and checking out discussions in the Steem Monsters discord server (where I saw you post about this contest.)
I'll tell you something funny: When I first created my Steem Monsters account earlier today I was looking at my cards and got very excited to see some of them were worth about $15 and even one worth $40! My excitement turned to laughter when I realized that I was on the Marketplace tab and looking at cards other people had put for sale, not my personal collection. haha. Oh well. At least I got an early taste for how excited I could get about the game. ;)

I suggest the level 2 Crypt Mancer which is equivalent to a level 5 Zintar Mortalis. The downside is it a 5 mana card, so there is a draw back to using it with low mana rules.

I do like that you will document your 7 day journey on Steemit. That should be a fun read.
I'm sure you are not the first to make that funny mistake about the market cards. Some of those high end cards are certainly within reach if you win prizes with this delegation and have lady luck by your side when you reveals cards.

Hi mellofello, I have been playing like crazy and have made it up to Silver I league! I'm really hoping to hit Gold III before the end of this season, but not sure if I have enough higher level cards to do it. Right now I only have level 1 and level 2 summoners.

I've been playing Steem Monsters since last season since I was encouraged to buy the pack.. I am participating whenever I can in the art competitions of Steem Monsters, to get more cards. For now it is my only way.
Last season I got silver 1 if I remember correctly, now I'm in silver 3. Summoners are a bit expensive, so I only have them at level 2 in Life, Fire and Earth. I always lose points trying to make the quests hahaha
I would like to win in order to reach higher and get more rewards, I would use these cards to the fullest.
I saw that there is a dragon too, it would be great to try them, I do not have a dragon summoner, I only have a dragon and I really do not know what to do with it 😂

I think your lonely dragon wants to come out and play so I delegated you a Daria. You can play with her until you get one of your own. She is very useful in an all melee attack rule because she adds one melee. She can also be played with any team available and best of all she can summon dragons.
One small tip about minimizing losses while trying to complete your DQs . Always play your best team for each mana rule. Don't try to force a certain team that should not be used for the mana rule just because it is your DQ.

Hello @mellofello. I've only been playing a few days and am currently trying to make it to silver. I'd like to win this delegation because it will give me a better chance to rank up faster and get more cards rewarded. It's not exactly easy. While writing this comment I managed to break 800. With the help of a few stronger cards, maybe I can level up a bit quicker, then level up some of the reward cards I like, maybe sell a few others. Though rewards cards don't exactly go for a lot. At least the common ones don't. Of course that also means that I can level them up a few stars no trouble. I've already put more money in this game than I should have though, and it would be nice to be able get even a little back while playing. Maybe I'll be able to get my account up to gold or higher with the help of your delegation.
Edit: I think I misunderstood what exactly is going to happen. So we will fight under your account with your posting key and just keep the cards we win? Not exactly sure how that would work. But in that case, similarly, the cards will help me advance with my account so I can attempt to rise in rank a bit faster and earn more cards.

If you win, I will give you the posting key to my account, @chasingunicorns, to play with. 100% of what you win from tournaments or daily quests (Steem, SBD, reward cards, etc) will be sent to your account at the end of the delegation period. The account is at Gold league so you qualify for all tournaments except for Diamond level. The only thing that cannot be transferred to you are the points from ranked battles.

My Introduction: I started playing steemmonster from last week of January, so I have total 50+ days of playing experience. My current rating points are 1702 (highest I achieved till now) and I am in Silver I league.
I have played more than 1500+ games in this short span of time so it proves I am fairly addicted to this game and do complete justice to that account if chosen.
I am also excited for this opportunity because my all summoner are level 1 (except Malric Inferno which is level 2) and playing with level 6 summoners and card will be a very new experience to me.
I am now well versed with the monster and summoner abilities and keep experimenting with the position of the monster to find the desired result for me.

I have also my failures/unsuccessful attack in this game but I think I have right experience and right knowledge about the skills/ability of the monster that make me suitable for handling such a high level cards.

I always like to do things differently. Currently I am accumulating steem and plan to upgrade the cards first then the summoners so that when I upgrade summoners they have already all levelled up card, or If I have levelled up cards ,then I lease a levelled up summoner.
Just waiting for a formal market of delegation to be launched.
That is a great plan. I appreciate how much thought you put into this. Sometimes it is cheaper to purchase a leveled-up card instead of many level 1's, so check that pricing too. And always remember that cards are cheaper right after the end of the season reward are distributed.
