Steem Monsters Daily Quest and ICC Cricket World Cup Updates - 24/June

Hello Friends,

How are you all doing? I am here with the updates about my daily quest from Steem Monsters and also a discussion on ICC Cricket World Cup matches.

Steem Monsters:

I had the privilege of battling it out with Life Splinters yesterday and I could complete the quest a bit early as Life Splinter is one of the favorites and have some advantageous cards for me along with Water Splinter.

Here are the cards I got:

A Legendary card is always a welcome card and obviously it will have some weight.

So, this time, I got a Legendary RULER OF THE SEAS.

I have even brought few Booster packs and one of those packs had these cards with a Legendary SELENIA SKY:

I am due to play the daily quest today and hopefully I will get another Legendary card today ;)

ICC Cricket World Cup:

Pakistan vs South Africa:

We had another one sided match yesterday as Pakistan beat South Africa comfortably by a margin of 49 runs.

One of the 2 replacements, Harris Sohail played beautifully for Pakistan by scoring 80+ runs and Pakistan's bowling was strong enough for South Africa batsmen. Especially, Mohammad Amir, Shadab Khan and Wahab Riaz.

It ensured South Africa out of contention for a place in Semifinal although Pakistan itself has very less chances of making the semis.

Bangladesh vs Afghanistan:

We have a battle between 2 low ranked teams today, i.e. between Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

While Bangladesh has proved to be giant killers, Afghanistan have lost all their 6 matches played so far although they came very close to beating India in their last match.

Both teams will rely on their spin bowling unit, but Bangladesh's batting scores over Afghanistan and that may prove to be the decider.

Afghanistan are no more in contention for Semi Final. But a win here will keep Bangladesh's chances of making the semis.

Let's hope for a good contest between bat and bowl.
