Steemmonsters Tournament - My first Win in the automated Tournaments - 1st Place 🥇 🏆

| gestern Nacht, bzw. Heute morgen um 3 Uhr fand das Novice Turnier "Kobold Mining Expedition" statt, welches von @steemmonsters gehostet wurde. Es hatten sich 88 Spieler für das Turnier angemeldet, jedoch haben nur 50 Leute eingechecked. Und ja wie der Titel des Post es schon verrät, habe ich es sogar geschafft den 1. Platz zu belegen. Das Finale ging über die vollen 5 Runden und ich konnte es gegen @comegetsome letztendlich mit einem 3-2 für mich entscheiden und somit über ein Preisgeld von 5.5 Steem freuen. last night, or this morning at 3am here in Germany, took place the novice tournament "Kobold Mining Expedition", which was hosted by @steemmonsters. There were 88 players registered for the tournament, but only 50 people have checked in. And yes, as the title of this post betrays it, I even managed to take 1st place. The finals went through the full 5 rounds and I ended up with a 3-2 against @comegetsome and wins a prize of 5.5 Steem. The first 3 places went to: 🥇@broxi 🥈@comegetsome 🥉@faiyazmahmud |
| Es war ein interessantes Turnier gewesen, da in der Novice League nur Level 1 Karten erlaubt sind und sich somit die Karten anders spielen als man in den oberen Ligen gewohnt ist. So sind diesmal in den ersten Runden schon bekannte Namen aus der Champions Liga wie @clove71, @vcdragon oder auch @holger80 frühzeitig aus dem Turnier ausgeschieden. Ich selbst hatte das glück durch eine rechtzeitige Anmeldung die Qualifizierungsrunde zu überspringen und erst in der 2. Runde auf meinen ersten Gegner getroffen bin. Und mein erster Gegner war @sirtorito, gegen den ich dieses mal siegreich mit einem 2-0 weiterziehen konnte. In der 3. Runde traff ich auf @szf, welches ich ebenso mit einem schnellen 2-0 für mich entschieden habe. Nun traf ich in Runde 4 auf @deathcloud, ich dachte mir schon okay hier ist die Reise für mich vorbei, jedoch habe ich gleich das erste Match gewinnen können und somit schonmal einen guten Ausgangspunkt gehabt, um vielleicht doch mal an ihm vorbeizukommen. Im zweiten Match habe ich dann was auf den Kopf bekommen und es war nun ein spannender Gleichstand. Ich habe mich dann schon aus dem Turnier fliegen sehen, doch siehe da ich habe das dritte und entscheidende Match gewonnen und war mit einem 2-1 ins Halbfinale eingezogen. Im Halbfinale angekommen traf ich auf meinen vorletzten Gegner @faiyazmahmud. Auch hier war es ein kurzer Aufenthalt mit einem 2-0 Sieg und schnellen Durchmarsch ins endgültige Finale. Hier traf ich dann auf @comegetsome. Das erste Match habe ich leider verloren und lag zu Beginn gleich mit 0-1 zurück. Im zweiten Match allerdings konnte ich den Spieß umdrehen und habe auf ein 1-1 ausgeglichen. Da ich gleich so richtig in fahrt war, habe ich mir auch gleich noch die nächste Runde geholt und mit 2-1 in Führung gegangen. Doch wurde ich gleich wieder im vierten Match wieder in die Schranken gewiesen und @comegetsome hat wieder ausgeglichen auf ein 2-2. Nun kam das letzte Match, und es sind mittlerweile schon über eine Stunde im Turnier vergangen und hier in Deutschland bereits 4:15 Uhr in der früh. Im finalen Match haben wir uns beide für den Wasser Summoner entschieden, jedoch hatte ich die günstigere Aufstellung und habe somit das Turnier mit 3-2 gewonnen. It had been an interesting tournament, as in the Novice League only level 1 cards are allowed and thus the cards play differently than you are used to in the top leagues. For example, well-known names from the Champions League such as @clove71, @vcdragon or @holger80 were eliminated early in the first rounds. I myself was lucky enough to skip the qualifying round by signing up in time and did not meet my first opponent until the second round. And my first opponent was @sirtorito, against whom I was able to move victoriously with a 2-0 victory this time. In the third round I hit @szf, which I also decided with a quick 2-0. Now I hit @deathcloud in round 4, I thought here the journey was over for me, but I was able to win the first match and had a good starting point, maybe to get past him. In the second match I got something on my head and it was an exciting tie now. I already saw myself fly out of the tournament, but lo and behold, I won the third and decisive match and entered the semi-finals with a 2-1 win. Arriving in the semifinals I met my penultimate opponent @faiyazmahmud. Again, it was a short stay with a 2-0 victory and a quick run through to the final. Here I met @comegetsome. Unfortunately I lost the first match and lost 0-1 at the beginning. In the second match, however, I was able to turn the tables and balanced on a 1-1. Since I was really into the ride right away, I also got myself the next round and took the lead 2-1. But I was again in the fourth match back in the barriers and @comegetsome has again balanced on a 2-2. Now came the last match, and it has now gone over an hour in the tournament and here in Germany already 4:15 clock in the morning. In the final match we both decided to go for the water summoner, but I had the better position and won the tournament with 3-2. It was a great final and nice close matches. I remember this game. My steemmonsters glitched out on me and never revealed my team. I'm still pissed about it. I could have been battling you.
