INCOME - ENTERTAINMENT TOKEN FOCUSED ON LONG TERM SUPPORT

I want to thank all of the INCOME token holders for experimenting with me, as well as @felander and @rycharde for their direct feedback in the comments of the original post. I have a special surprise for those that have been holding that I will reveal at the end of this post!

INCOME token is an ENTERTAINMENT token with no staking required, and the entertainment operates in the following manner -

1. Each day, a new snapshot of Income Token holders is made.
2. A weighted draw performed for 1 SBI unit.
3. The winner is completely removed from the pool.
4. A follow on weighted draw is performed for 1 SBI unit.

With the invaluable help of @thecrazygm we have now completed the second phase of testing with INCOME token, and it is now consistently drawing 2 SBI units per day. In the big picture, we are in the process of scaling up to the goal number of 10 SBI per day being drawn and awarded to 10 different INCOME token holders.

With the enormous help of @ch3lo, we have our official provisional logo/poster design! We took the SBI sustainability logo designed by @ecoinstante (and available on T-shirts) and laid it over a local shot from @ch3lo, who is down here in Libano working hard with us.

One of the biggest questions I got from potential token buyers was that, if we skew later draws toward small token holders, what is the point of holding a lot of tokens? Now, there definitely is a slight skew, but holding more tokens is still considerably entertaining.

So what about the math?

I like math, and the math behind this project excites me. Today I would like to give an example using our new INCOME whale - @contestkings who picked up 100 INCOME tokens.

At the time of calculating there are 31 other holders with between 1 and 25 tokens, with total holdings of 281.

On the first draw Contest Kings has 100/281 chances to win, or 35.59%.

But during the 64.41% of the time that they don't win the first draw, they get another chance! Only this time their chances will range from 100/256 (39.06%) to 100/280 (35.71%). Over all, @contestkings' chance of winning one share each day is over 50%, meaning in the next 30 days (of 2/day draws), @contestkings is extremely likely to be sponsored for 15 SBI +/- 2

Now that's big entertainment for big holders!

But I thought this was good for minnows!?

Let's take the minnow example with @phoenixwren. This account holds 2 INCOME, one purchased and one awarded for participating 3 weeks in a row in my #buildbetter contest.

On the first draw PhoenixWren has 2/281 chances to win, or 0.71%.

Now during the 99.29% of th etime that they don't win the first draw, they get another chance! Only this time their chances will range from 2/181 (1.11%) to 2/280 (0.72%).

Overall, these minnow numbers do not skew enough to make a very surprising difference at only 2 draws. This effect, noticeable now with a larger account, will increase dramatically with additional draws that we are working to add in. I should emphasize, the expected entertainment math still works out for small holders, but it becomes quite a matter of chance when the entertainment will actually take place.

How does the funding work?

The 'scaling' that I speak of is the work that is going on behind the scenes. @rycharde runs several STEEM FinTech projects of votebonds which are very useful to our project. I (@ecoinstant) have loaned 500 MAPXV tokens to the cause, and current tokens sales (@ 1 steemp) are going straight into MAXUV and MAPX tokens. I also took 1000 of my personal STEEM and put them into SBI units to get the ball rolling. In a certain sense and at least to start, INCOME token is about taking my entertainment and sharing it with YOU!

Currently our posts are able to support 2 SBI draws per day, and it is looking like we will get the green light very soon to go to 3.
