You realize that you haven't seen a trail marker for a while. It takes some backtracking to find the corrct trail and get back on course.

You have decided to walk for a while. This reduces your fatigue and settles your stomach a bit, so you can then start running again.

It starts to rain, making the trail slippery. You slow down a bit trying not to fall on your face.

Commentary

@toofasteddie is proving just that - too fast for the rest of the pack. He is out to a commanding lead, but health-wise he is looking pretty tired. Does he have enough left in the tank to push all the way to the finish line?

@soluce07 did well to pass @len.george and move into second place. the run down the Tip Track must be a lot easier than the run up. but @len.george is at the top of the Tip Track and has much better health, so the next turn will be interesting.

@karenb54 is handily placed to fight for the third place on the podium. She has pretty good health as well, and with the others slowing down, the next turn may just be her time to shine.

But the biggest runner of the day must be @plankstoplanks. wow! What an effort! She is now just behind @karenb54 and looking strong after a hard start. This part of the race is turning out to be the most competitive.

And don't write @amico off either. The next turn could see another big move and an upset at the finish line.

It all comes down to the next throw of the dice! It's time to do or die, runners. The next turn will decided the winner, so make it your best and bravest call.
