STEEMIT ULTIMATE CHALLENGE 8 WEEKS Week # 4 : From A Person Who's Many Times a Failure to Someone Now Who Found Success with Steemit
Hello Friends!
How have you been doing? I do hope you are all great. This is now my 2nd entry to @dobartim's Steemit Ultimate Challenge. My first entry was in the very first week of the challenge but unfortunately, I was not able to make it to the winner's list for that week. I wasn't able to submit another entry for the 2nd and 3rd week not because I got discouraged or what, but I was just having a hard time lately writing a blog with 1000 words as its minimum requirement. Gratefully, I am now back with this, ready and willing to share you the ups and downs of my story in this ever life-changing platform that we call STEEMIT. I hope this could inspire you in a way or two.
Allow me first to introduce myself again to Steemit Ocean where whales and minnows are swimming delightfully.
I am Jenesa from Cebu, Philippines, a public school teacher in our locality for about 4 years now. I love teaching and I really feel that it's my vocation. Despite a number of mouths who keep on throwing negatives about the teaching profession, my love for the job remains pure and strong. I have found more than enough reasons why I chose to be in this career, to be a teacher. Aside from the fact that it's my mother's best choice for me, I find it as the most influential job which helps transform lives and realize ambitions. I just can't really figure it out but I so love to touch others' lives and be a part of their success. I just found joy and inner peace in seeing others celebrate life as they succeed in their endeavor.

I joined Steemit in July last year. So it's about 7 months now from then. Like most of you, the struggles in my first few months in the community was really hard, hard that it pushed me to the edge of giving up. I felt that the people didn't like the things that I kept posting. But I thank God for the people around who hit me with this thing, "Quitters never win, and winners never quit." And so, I just continued and strived hard to be better in everything that I'm doing in the community. Yes! The time had come. Day after day, I could feel my growth and progress. I got recognitions which I never expected and earned more than $0.01 for every post that I made. In return, I regained my enthusiasm and merry spirit for the community and promised a thing that I would give it my best.
There were times that I see myself as a failure. I got plans and diligently worked to realize them all, but still, they didn't turn out as how I expected them to be. As a result, I got so disappointed, frustrated and hopeless that I came to the point of calling myself a failure, which was reflected in one of my first month's blog posts, Am I A Failure?. Never did I imagine that the turnout of letting that thought out by sharing them would be an immense starting point for myself to cultivate one's innate positivity despite all odds. The people who never left me suffer from this kind of hard feeling were the best and the most precious reward that I got from here.
Below is the screenshot of the comments from this community trying to take me away from that sad and gloomy spirit that danced with me.

From that moment, I have found a new home, a home which I never believe can be sought in social websites like Steemit, a home that's made sweeter by these people here who are worthy to be called family. I just couldn't figure what have I done that I'm blessed with great people abundantly. I just so wish that it continues to infinity.
I am even made eager to share the best I could and be the best version of myself to anyone around. The hunger to inspire and help others even becomes stronger. I know these are just some of the upshots of what I have experienced with the great and awesome individuals in Steemit.
Moreover, I'm made to know how does financial breakthrough feel like for an ordinary person like me. With the monetary rewards that I got from the community, I am able to get more than enough chances to wander and marvel at God's majesty in creation. If you have noticed, I made getaway blog series, and undeniably yes, these were made possible with the help of this community who never let any effortful crafts be in vain.

Here are these getaways.
Series # 1 : Balamban's Coolest Resort, JVR Sky in the Island Resort
Series # 2 : Adventure Cafe, Cebu, Philippines
Series # 3 : Mt. Naupa, Naga's Highest Peak
These getaway series of mine were just around Cebu, I haven't included here my out of the town travels which were also powered by Steemit community.
Also, with my hard-earned sbd, the fleeting desire for more investment is revived. With you on this platform, I have built trust and confidence that this time I can now favorably make my planned business and investment come to fruition. In fact, some of my sbd rewards back then were invested in a memorial lot.

Here's a blog for a sneak peek at the lot investment.
Investment 101: Memorial Lawn Lot
For the length of my stay here in the community, I am shaped into a person whose positivity is much rekindled; whose innate generosity is nourished; whose openness is firmed up; and whose belief in ownself is solidified. Indeed, Steemit has offered me gratifyingly awesome things that are beyond my expectation and imagination.
Cheers for more!

Thank you so much @dobartim for this great opportunity!
Inspire and Be Inspired!
Sincerely,
@jenesa
Hi janesa! I salute teachers like you, for without people like you, who never gives up with their students, leaders of every country will not be made. Without teachers like you, countries will be transported back to the stone age! That's why you should never give up with teaching, I believe you have the passion, nevermind the people who tells you negative things about it. Some people just tends to bring people down. As with your steemit adventure, even though I am new and experiencing the things that you mentioned above and I can relate with it, (not the success part, still new here) I believe you will be more succesful than ever before.. Goodluck!
