I listened to her story a couple of times because she's got such a lovely, soothing voice; a voice for lullabies. As she shared the stories I could imagine each scene with such clarity.

What sane cat rides a pony or comes when summoned? Truly, a mythical beast, that one!
And it is so glaringly clear how much @natator88 loves her Black Lab mix. I laughed with my own memories of tossing snowballs in the air for my fur babies to catch!
And I've only ever gone ass over tea kettle ONCE thanks to a pony, but never for the reason she shared. Boy, does that pony have personality! LOL

What can I say about his submission? I nearly hesssssitate to sssssay!

If you guessed it was about snakes, you would be right! @papa-pepper loves creatures of all kinds but he's got a special place in his heart for snakes. While I admire snakes, I do so from afar. Like, very much afar.

He's definitely got a warm spot for a cold-blooded albino Burmese python! Now, I've looked but did not find an independent post so here's his story on his YouTube channel. Again, show a little love by giving him a like and subscribe over there!

His narration takes us through how he acquired such a pet, with plenty of pictures and I was really enjoying the story right up to the point when the snake tried to eat him.

The Winner

How am I supposed to pick a winner here when I think they're both winners for participating? So, I'm asking @aunt-deb to carry over her prize to next month's #steemitstoryslam and I would like to award both @natator88 and @papa-pepper 10 SBD each for their entries.

Both are worthy and I've enjoyed them on their own merit.
So, I cannot pick a favorite and I won't.
So there.

We're just going to have to have more entries next time!
