Thrown amongst the Wolves-100 Days of Poetry Challenge: Day Eleven
Thrown Amongst The Wolves
But I do not agree
to my childhood being misguided
My path already decided.
To be thrown amongst
the wolves
each layer ripped bare and exposed,
Now so easy to dictate
to be moulded into shape.
of making mistakes.
Spoon feed knowledge
that speaks of defeat,
with no real learning
only repeating the deceit.
This history,
Why no herstory.
Why only memorize and not learn,
Am I just to follow on
and never act concerned.
Submissive and controlled,
my ideal way of life
unlearned.
Notes
I think this poem speaks for itself and in what it represents, I am using thrown amongst the wolves as a figure of speech, I do in fact have the up most respect for these animals and do not believe the way that there are sometimes represented as savages, giving others the excuse to hunt and kill them.

Excellent approach to a topic that, even in these days, is critical. It seems incredible how the threads of power in the world keep us anchored and tensed despite visible seams. Many see the threads, but we do not have scissors to cut them, they are very powerful and, in this case, the conscience of the fact, pitifully only frustrates. Good job, @trucklife-family.
