Announcing: Steemit Sandwich Contest - Looking for Sponsors !
Hello fellow Steemians..
As some of you are already aware, I will be officially launching the very first
Steemit Sandwich Contest
on Tuesday August 8th 2017!
In that, I am looking for sponsors who might be willing to donate on a weekly basis.
Spontaneous, or one time donations are also encouraged and appreciated!
Currently, the Prizes will be drawn from the cumulative SBD from the post payouts (including this one!).

Why you should sponsor the Steemit Sandwich Contest!
Contests bring people together! And the thing about food is...most people love it! Therefore, this contest has a very high chance of connecting Steemians from different walks of life, who otherwise, may not have ever had the opportunity to interact.
Upon first look, there doesn't seem to be many food related contests in general, and, that are run weekly.
A higher prize amount and/or multiple prize amounts would ultimately offer an increased incentive for contestants to enter consistently, thus growing the contest immediately and would also probably increase participation overall. More engagement means better growth for STEEMIT and we all win!
There already appears to be a number of fellow Steemians eager to participate in the contest (21 by my last count). Followers of my "The Daily Manwich Blog" have it he past also expressed a strong interest in producing their own creative sandwiches and hopefully, this contest will give them tan opportunity and friendly push in order to do just that.
Steemit Sandwich Contest would provide an opportunity for Steemians who do not normally post food related blogs, an opportunity to do so.
I have been thinking about chairing a contest since I first participated in @luzcypher 's Open Mic. It has taken me almost a year to realize what that contest should be. Steemit Sandwich Contest has been rolling around in my brain since my very first Manwich post. I've had a lot of time to consider the logistic, to brainstorm ideas and also to gauge the level of interest among the steemit community.
I have a strong connection to this particular topic and therefore, I also a huge invested interest in its success.
I am very excited to launch the contest on Tuesday August 8th 2017 and it looks some of my fellow Steemians are also quite eager to get started! We've even had a premature entry "wich" was great!

bahahaha, I loved the creativity of that entry! "Banana Dog" will definitely come around in my The Daily Manwich... I have some ideas for that one :)

Donation already sent. Ways to step up the 'banana dog' are with old cheddar cheese, brown sugar, or by deep frying it. You could try it with onions as well, but I'm not sure the effect as I've never tested that one. Keep up the good work.
