My second entry for @jaybird 's SSC #31 - No Wheat...
Picked & Veggies Canape Sandwiches
All vege, surprisingly interesting combination of taste and textures.
I'd say the carrot was the ace in the sleeve, as it kept the pickles from overpowering the sandwich while at the same time providing a more crunchier texture than the other ingredients.
Ingredients:
Pickled cucumbers
Carrot
Radish
Salt
oooo I dig this one too. I like this pickle carrot radish combo. I'm betting this was super refreshing! These past two entries would be pretty interesting horderves in tandem at an event. no one would have ever had them before!
Yeah, would like to have some meat options too though at that event... :)
