Incorporating small group activities into daily schedule is essential for teaching cooperation and teamwork skills. Group work can be an effective method to motivate students, encourage active learning, and develop key critical thinking, communication and decision-making skills. But without careful planning and facilitation group work can frustrate students and instructors and feel like a waste of time.

Knowing More About Yourself

Collaborating with others will help identify your own strengths and weaknesses.

"You may be a better leader than listener, or you might be good at coming up with the big ideas but not so good at putting them into action."

Enhanced self-awareness will both help you approach to learning and will be invaluable.
