With recent technological developments, you can actually get a farm in your country or even far from where you live. There are websites that offer these services. On these websites you will find the kind of farms they have available with its interest rates. In some years time, you might even be able to get a farm with cryptocurrency.
How does this work? You visit any of such websites, create an account, select the kind of farm you want, then proceed to make online payment. After making payments, you will be informed if it's successful. These websites will send regular updates about the farm to you, this includes pictures, videos etc. You could also set up a meeting, to check out your farm.
The amount you invested would be used to acquire a land and pay a local farmer to work on it. A service charge is also taken for the website's maintenance. Usually, such websites are backed up with Agricultural Insurances. If it does not have insurance, I would advice you run away.
In a situation whereby your farm is damaged due to fire outbreak or unforseen occurrences, your initial capital is paid back to you. That is the interesting part about these services!

Before investing in such websites though, I would suggest you do a thorough research, to find out if it is genuine. Because scammers would take this opportunity to swindle money of unsuspecting persons.

Yes, true. I mentioned that in the article. We expect too much from the government, that's one of the problems in Nigeria. A reliable Insurance is what is needed.
