A Good Teacher May Not Be A Great Teacher
There are many good teachers in the world but not all can become great teachers.
A great teacher may not be one who needs to be master of content but one who can let students experience learning.
A great teacher should love teaching and learning.
We can show our students how we learn and how we can learn together with them.
Students do not really enjoy sitting the whole day listening but most of them enjoy learning outside the classrooms with authentic experience.
They like to feel the rapport and get connected with their teachers. They feel great to know that their teachers are not just teachers but someone that they can relate to.
There are so many characteristics of a great teacher but a great teacher should understand each child well and customize learning according to each child’s need.
The difference between a good teacher and great teacher may be hard to tell as it may also depend on the student's own perception and experience with each teacher.
