RE: Learning through self-directed play - the teachings of Peter Gray
I am really glad I grew up on a farm where I was able to learn and do whatever I wanted to, I have seen the impact of this in my life. Although I stay in town now I can see the difference in the other people around me. I really love your Einstien quote, brought back many memories.
I'm a city girl, for better or worse, I suppose...although I've always been curious and kind of wanted to live in the country.
but that's a point he makes in the book, that you can have free play and free time both in the city and the country, although time in nature is best.
Thank you :)
They country is amazing, nothing feels rushed and everyone is a lot more relaxed. In town the atmosphere is always stressful and busy. I often get up onto the roof just to watch the sunset, this really helps.
