The direct experiences are all those that involve a direct contact with reality, the outputs are one of the possible forms of direct experiences, which achieve a great educational value, and which previously planned, achieve great results because, to the extent that the teacher has a clear content to address, the student will learn what is necessary.

When it is proposed that the children have direct experiences, what is wanted is to achieve the greatest participation of the students in the achievement of their learning, since strategies are generated that start from the lived reality for the development of skills and aptitudes in the solution of problems, generating confidence and security.

It is intended that with this learning methodology such as: outdoor activities, simulations, activities in the classroom or in authorized places, the child will be helped to mature and grow more effectively.

Direct experience in the library.

It is the initiation and approach to the world of literature, which seeks the full enjoyment of the story or poetry, submerging in writings full of joy, fear, suspense and charm, capturing the full attention of children and direct involvement for a closer approach to reality.

Direct experience in the library allows children to play with words and discover the unlimited language and manner of expression.

Objective of the direct experience in the library.

  • Be able to turn children into great active readers
  • make children feel the pleasure and desire to read.
  • That the child discovers that through reading information is obtained and this leads him to learn by helping him in his personal development.
-The exploration and learning of language.
  • Expand the understanding of the various future topics to study.
  • That the children learn to write correctly.
  • Learn to value books.
  • That children observe the physical environment and the distribution of objects, shelves, books, files and reading rooms, learning to respect the rules for the use of the library.

The role of the teacher with the activity of direct experiences.

  • Encourage children to participate in activities related to the library and reading.
  • Take the children regularly to the library, to create a habit, which will be useful for children.
  • Schedule activities with students in the library to achieve the objective of direct experiences.
  • Create dynamic activities, such as: Being able to create their stories through reading.

Participation of children in the library.

The children are in all their power to act freely and move to their liking to know and discover what the library and books do in the human being.

Children are free to do the following:

  • Express yourself without reservations and make your ideas known.
  • Observe, to determine what will be nice to investigate.
  • Exchange interests and tastes for literature.
  • Inquire and learn to look for topics of interest and this will create habits that lead to the organization.

Activities after the visit in the library.

Once finished the exit, and being in the classroom the teacher can ask a series of questions to the children, as for example:

What do you think of the exit?
What kind of reading has caught your attention?

The educator has the duty to continue encouraging the children to read, and for this they can carry out an activity in the classroom, which can be the following:

The organization of a classroom library, where children sort books by color, act as librarians on a rotating basis and can maintain enthusiasm for the library, books and reading. Therefore, this will make them want to continue having direct experiences that serve their development.

I hope that this activity can be put into practice, generating the best results.

Greetings educators and motivators of education.

That is good idea, Indeed, the children in the present are especially in my country (Indonesia) more fun to play gadgets or watch television than to visit the library. In fact, much knowledge will be obtained from reading. It is our duty to familiarize the child with books and libraries since the early hours. I will resteem this and I hope you agree. thanks
