The Images Will Trigger Your Memory

My camera is always at the ready for capturing any usual or unusual phenomena all around me. Steemit has tutored me to be alert. My finger hovers uneasily at the click button of that camera. If you know what 'having the ear to the ground' means. Eagerness to make a shot drives me crazy. At times I hover aimlessly around in the hope of getting a good image to capture.

Often the prayers of the faithful are normally answered. The images that follow will tell it all. They will trigger something in your memory that never existed there before. No, do not take me wrong! This happens to be my regular steemit post that does not in any way work any magic, yet the magic will happen as you browse and read this post.

They may rarely utter a single word but their posture, movement and whatever they bring on the table, speaks volumes of words.#

Amazingly amazing are ants. They are tiny frail creatures that one may brush away as no threat causers. They are shy too and would rather hide in their network of tiny tunnels. What amazes me is that they have learnt the art of working. They believe all play and no work turns an ant into lazy bones. And do they work!

They have a hidden work plan. Their dreams and goals are translated into activity. Nature has taught them how to divide the work amongst themselves. They know what to do. Their communication skills are perfect. They may rarely utter a single word but their posture, movement and whatever they bring on the table, speaks volumes of words. Others know how to read such and act accirdingly.

Very Social Creatures

Ants are sicial beings. They need each other. They function better knowing very well that the other one is doing his part of the bargain. Their living in groups is that they know that they are frail and weak. Yet when they are together is when they can unite their weakness to be strong. Any intruder will be attacked by the army left and right till they learn to fear their attack.

Ants will always feed and protect the queen. She is always comfortable knowing she is in good hands. It just remains for her to mate and multiply their numbers. Numbers make a colony. The colony knows how to live and work together.

So gigantic anthills are constructed. They never sleep at night but work to build castles. One may go to bed when the ground is flat, but wakes up to a big anthill upon waking up. They do not love disturbances. They want to work in the quiet of the night.

Ants are fantastic!
They are amazing
They know themselves well
They work, and work and work
For a living and welbeing

They become a menace and so destructive. They make buildings fall while replacing them with anthills. They feed on any vegetation around; especially dry ones or grasses. Their numbers are threatening yet they are so small.
