RE: Steemit Crypto Academy Season 2 Week 1 Homework by Professor @sapwood || P2P Market-USDT with Binance

in SteemitCryptoAcademy5 years ago

Thank you for attending the lecture in Steemit-Crypto-Academy- Season 2 & doing the homework task-1.

Trading from TRC20 for USDT, I haven't tried one before. Actually, I ma learning how to trade with more coins, so will soon exchange TRC-20 for USDT and compare the price difference with that of ETH to USDT.

USDT is a stable coin and the most liquid market in spot trading in almost all exchanges, and for that reason P2P USDT market is also more liquid than others.

Interestingly USDT is also interoprable as you can find USDT in Etherum network, Tron Network, Binance Smart chain, etc. But the fees vary from one network to the other. So if an exchange supports USDT, and if it also supports TRC 20 USDT, then it is always cost-effective and scaable to move USDT from one exchange to the other using the Tron Network as compared to ERC 20 USDT.

How does escrow protection help a buyer and seller?

  • Once a trade is initiated, a seller can not cancel it, either the buyer can cancel it, or perform the trade or timeout occurs, and automatically canceled.
  • A seller can only release it, in the case of a dispute the third party intervenes to verify the fact/evidence and release it to the rightful owner.

Feedback/Suggestions:-

  • The author has demonstrated how to sell for fiat in Binance P2P, but more detailing of the ste-by-step process is required including all the stepswindow time, release time, chatbox, interaction with the counterpart, etc with relevant screenshots at each step.
  • The author should cover all the sub-parts to score better.

Thank you.
