Thanks friend for the mention. From what I can see buying steem in India is as easy as doing it here.
What I have read is that it is very expensive at the trading tax level, that 32% that you mention is crazy.

That's right, our government has imposed a tax of 30% on all crypto related deposit in bank even if it's on loss which has impacted negatively but I am not thinking in terms of withdrawal so it makes no difference to me.
As far the Unocoin Wallet, it's for use in India only and I am associated it for almost 10 years when the price of Bitcoin was less than $50. I like its easy operation and the founder is very friendly who responds to me personally. Thanks for your time and valuable feedback.
