RE: Steemit Crypto Academy Season 2-Week 8 | Cryptocurrency Trading with Bollinger Bands - Homework for @kouba01

@kouba01 I also have an complain about my week-6 homework. I done a detailed research on it and wrote down week-6 homework in easy and understandable native language. Every single person who even not familier with MACD can read and take advantage by the MACD indicator by just reading that homework post.

Dear @faisalamin,

@kouba01 is correct in his observation. Most of the content, its order are apparently spun/plagiarized content by suitably paraphrasing and/or rearranging the text a little bit.

Type of plagiarism-- Close paraphrase

What is close paraphrase??

Ans-- Where only a few words are changed from the original, but the tone and order of the text and sentence remain the same.

See, if you do research and analysis by going through a series of different sources on a particular subject/topic, even if you quote all the references, you are not entitled to project the same tone, order by rearranging the text a little bit, that will find its way to be categorized as plagiarized content.

Formulas, equations, and nomenclature are generalized things, no one will blame you for that. They will remain universal in their format regardless of who the author is.

But here @kouba01 has already highlighted those parts, please go through those highlighted parts once again. You will realize what went wrong.

You have to be your own even if you read & go through 10 different articles and cite the source. By and large, in Crypto Academy authorship is more about what you have understood and how do you explain what you know. We always advocate for "be your own".

Thank you.

Thank you @sapwood for the clarification!!

Thanks professor. One thing that we suggest to add in rules that allow to add references as endingplagiarism suggest too. Thanks best regards

Superbly articulated.

@faisalamin - Simply adding references won't necessarily make your homework acceptable to the professors but it will prevent @endingplagiairsm from highlighting plagiarism to you.

I know but atleast adding it will help to get rid of these types of problem. We can not change defined rules for a method.
