RE: Crypto Academy Season 3 Beginners' course - Task 4: Different types of Consensus Mechanisms by @isgledysduarte
Hello @isgledysduarte,
Thank you for taking interest in the 4th Task of the Beginners’ class. Your grades are as follows:
| Criteria | Calculation |
|---|---|
| Presentation/Use of Markdowns | 0.8/2 |
| Compliance with Topic | 1/2 |
| Quality of Analysis | 1/2 |
| Clarity of Language | 2/2 |
| Originality | 1.5/2 |
| Total | 6.3/10 |
The following caught my attention:
Once the algorithm is solved, the user shares it with the network, for verification. If the requirements are met, it is valid, otherwise, access to the network is rejected.
The mathematical problem is created and the first correct solution is validated by the network and the block minted. The more miners that are connected, the harder the problem.
Ease of implementation
The proof of work is not very easy to implement. First, it is very expensive to set up such a network because of the huge computing power required.
Feedback and Suggestions
You have done a good amount of research to bring out new concepts on the topic.
Always double check your facts before writing.
You really did not answer the question of differences. You simply explained the different Consensus Algorithms. Always follow the instructions.
Your presentation is good. However to gain full marks in presentation you need to actually present the complete assignment. Also, you should always separate categories. You should have separated the category of scalability from that of the pros and cons.
Thanks again as we anticipate your participation in the next class.
I'm very grateful for your correction. This the reason for me to being here. I am learning so much from all of You.
