Introduction

Perhaps you are wondering who is this new group of community that identifies themselves as steemitbloggers. In short just like alcoholic anonymous and some insurance company, we are a support group that makes you feel good about yourself and make you feel worthy. After being in steemit for a while, it didn't take me long to realise that the unfairness in the real world is replicated in the steemit ecosystem as well. Of course there are good whales and their community that support quality posts, but the system is very much a system of engagement.

So, in high school football terms, if you are the captain of the team that looks good and brings home the trophy or you are the cheerleading squad with luscious blond hair, you get good upvotes. The world is unfair as such. Although there are extremely good initiatives such as @curie, @ocd and @minnowsupport but good contents do not always get discovered.

Taking Matters into Own Hand

My mother always say, if you want something done, you got to step up and take some responsibilities on your shoulders. This entire community is the brainchild of @jaynie and in collaboration with @bluemist using the @appreciator, members of the community gets a good leverage on two grounds:-

i) A good upvote from the community; and
ii) If it packs the 'Wow' factor, it will be upvoted by @appreciator for a good $5.00

How does the Clockwork in Steemit Bloggers Work

Here, the saild of Steemit Bloggers is powered by the members themselves. Hence, we invite you to be part of our community. Being a member of the community does not immediately meant that you are eligible for support. There is a daily requirement for engagement with fellow members. Members are required to engage with another member. This itself promotes camaraderie. Even Robin Hood can't take on the Sheriff and his men alone right?

Engaging with each member would entitle the member to be eligible for the 'Wow' support. Each day, the @appreciator will be commissioned to upvote 3 posts that packs the 'Wow' factor and this upvote has a value of $5.00. There are conditions that must be met, but the bottom line is this, the post must be good and it would return you a good vote if chosen.

Why Sceptical?

Now, let's deal with the skepticism. There must be a catch. It cannot be as simple as merely engaging someone the post will be upvoted at no costs. Upvote bots are all commissioned for a price. In this community, the growth of everyone is linked to one another. Rather than chant upvotes for upvotes, it is more a system of support for support. Here, no community member is compelled to only choose a specific post to upvote. They have an array of posts to choose and they are at liberty to choose one that they like best.

So, this is a self sustaining system that does not leech on its members or promise outlandish rewards. Here, everything is grounded on community support, consistency and putting effort in churning out good posts.

This amazing South African woman did not pay me write this nor promise me any upvotes. This is a digest for the community and I have offered myself. The effort and commitment shown by @jaynie is examplary and if this is the least that I can do, I am doing it.
