I agree with many comments here, that steemit got its prioritises and its model right. Although bitcoin pioneered the blockchain idea, it will disappear in obscurity if more companies like steemit appear who will reward people for useful actions as opposed to solving fake mathematical formulas.

Jeff is being rewarded for his work not because he figured out steemit but because he has figured life in some of its aspects and publishing was his thing for many years. He is also touching on many ideas which are very important and he seems to offer good analysis of financial situation and understands geopolitics from the bird view which brought him many followers, myself included. Way to go Jeff, my hat goes off to you.
