What if you could have your own Steemit Group or Club House to help bring people together and grow Steemit? So this is an idea I came up with to accomplish a couple of goals and grow the platform.

Concept

A person with a reputation over 50 can start a group. The group can accept members and each member will get a percentage of the "group account" rewards. The percentages are picked by the founder of the group. For example, active leadership in the group may get a higher percentage than a new member.  The groups can do everything from root for a specific team to mentoring new minnows.

The groups could be like Schools or Universities or like a Club House. 

Goals

One of the benefits of the group pages is that it would allow for more coaching and helping the newer people. Groups could be started by whales where they pick new people on Steemit that show a lot of potential and help them through the process and learning curve.

Another goal would be to allow more communities to blossom on Steemit. Right now we have to search things by tags or by names. If there was a page you could go to each day and catch up with friends with similar tastes, then it would increase activity and engagement. It wouldn't make Steemit seem so massive to people when they first get here too.

Other Benefits

The groups could compete in content competitions with other groups. It would help people who are already running fantasy leagues and stuff keep up with everything.

The groups can be public, but the permissions can be limited to the team.

It is a good way to help boost rewards for new people.

I see this as a way to help charities as well. Groups use their rewards to help charities. That would be awesome.
