Mars the Planet - A Theory by @venuspcs

I have spent most of my life wondering about our closest neighbor, Mars. Today we know the planet wasn't always "dead" and most likely used to have oceans, thick atmosphere and most likely some form of life on it. I have often wondered if Mars ever contained any intelligent or sentient life.

Imagine if you will, 300,000 years ago a massive civilization lived on Mars. They were technologically advanced, at least to a level of modern humanity. Then their scientists discovered the planets core was dying and they had no way to save their planet. Now imagine that they had the means to leave their planet, by tearing apart almost all traces of their existence on Mars and using the raw materials to build ships and leave their planet. Earth was close by and most likely not very far off from what Mars was like at the time. So they headed here to Earth.

Maybe they had already been visiting Earth for thousands of years or longer. Maybe they came here to hunt, explore or who knows what a million years ago. Now back to 300,000 years ago when their planet started to die. They would have known, had they been to Earth already, that there were other humanoid species that had evolved on this planet. Maybe they didn't want to interfere with the natural evolution, but needed a new home. So they came here in droves, ship after ship transporting millions of Martians to Earth. How could they blend in, hide among our ancestors?

Well there are several ways that come to mind:

1. They could land in desolate, uninhabited areas to build their new cities. Think the Incan and Mayan ruins that records show were built before the Incan's and Mayans inhabited them.
2. They could disassemble their ships and destroy any signs of their technology and then blend in with the other humanoids already here.
3. They could have discovered, in their previous visits, places to hide on Earth where we wouldn't find them....at least not until we where significantly advanced intellectually and technologically. Think "Hollow Earth" or "Atlantis".

Now if you really think about this as a possibility you will quickly realize it would explain a hell of a lot. For example:

1. It would explain the plethora of Mysterious Artifacts that have been found and dated to before any known Humanoid Species evolved on this planet.
2. It would explain how our distant ancestors came to build things like the Great Pyramids and Stone Henge.
3. It would explain the existence of Ancient Monuments like: The Nazca Lines, Easter Island, and many other places.
4. It might even explain why we have never been able to find the "missing link" in our evolutionary records. If millions of Martians suddenly appeared on our planet and interbred with (or genetically altered) the existing Humanoids that were here there would have been an instantaneous evolutionary leap that would have occurred in a single generation and left no record.
5. It might even be able to explain why every single civilization and culture to have existed in the last 300,000 years that had any form of writing (or drawing) depicted Aliens, UFO's and other things like Airplanes, Helicopters, etc. that they should have had no knowledge would ever exist. Maybe when the Martians first arrived they built huge cities on the land/ocean and had all their technology with them. Maybe they later decided to hide or destroy it, after it had been seen by many many people.
6. If the Martians kept (hid) some of their technology, like the ships that brought them to Earth and later decided to use that technology it might explain why there have been an abundance of UFO Sightings by every single culture and civilization to ever record a written record.

In short, I believe that humanity owes it's love of the heavens, it's desire to explore, it's insatiable need to venture beyond Planet Earth to our distant ancestors.....the Martians that began coming to Earth millions of years ago and may have moved here en masse 300,000 years ago.

If modern humanity is any indication of the mindset of those Martians then it would likely be a safe bet that:

1. Some of them chose to stay behind on Mars and moved underground, there might even still be a civilization there in a Hollow Mars style city.
2. Some of them chose to look for other homes and ships headed out in all Directions from Mars. Some of them might have even made it to Alpha Centauri or farther before finding a new home planet.
3. Many of them that survived the move to another world would have kept advancing their intellect and technology and how knows what they might have discovered over the last 300,000 years. Maybe they have been returning from wherever they call home now to check on Earth....maybe they are the Greys, the Lizard like aliens, the Lemurians, the Atlanteans, and/or countless other reported and documented myths, legends and folk stories that have been passed down for millennia.
4. Maybe all life in the Universe began on Mars and then spread to Earth and countless other worlds.
5. Maybe they realized they weren't alone in the Universe and went looking for other Intelligent and Sentient life.

Things like this are what I spent almost the entirety of my mental processing power on. I think about stuff like this 24/7 and then wonder why I can't sleep. Besides the pain I feel my brain has no off switch. I can't stop it from dreaming, wondering, pondering and trying to solve every problem it can think of.

TL;DR - Humanity is not alone in the Universe, but we may be aliens living on Earth.
