I really love the writing here, you are very informative. I do have 1 question though that you might be able to answer for a new user like me: When posting, am I able to share something of my own work from another website?
Yes you can. It might be helpful if you link to it from the other site to show it actually belongs to you and isn't stolen but other than that it is fine.

There is no rule against them - I don't think people mind - just be wary that if you put too many in it might annoy your readers and put them off commenting. I've seen some people post a list of links and addresses for donation that are longer than the rest of the post and it is a pain to scroll down. Normally if I see that I stop following those posts.
Thank you again for this information, some other sites like MyLot don't allow it, and I don't want to break any rules or become annoying, and helping with quality content. :)
