What to do when your steempy is not responsive ? | 你的steempy没反应了怎么办?

in steemit •  11 months ago

My steempy has been not responsive at all after I changed the nodes. For example, it would take forever to run :

steempy config

And you can not change nodes anymore by run:

steempy set nodes https://api.steemit.com:443

The reason is the node you're trying to connect to is down, and steempy is stuck up. To reset it, you have to find the sql database it's using. The exact location of that file depends on your os, on mac it's at:

/Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support/steem/steem.sqlite

Remove this file and go to https://geo.steem.pl/ to find a good node, you're good to go. On other system, find this file you installed:

删除这个文件,在 https://geo.steem.pl/找到好用的节点就好了。对于其他操作系统,你需要找到安装的这个文件:

Under these codes,

 data_dir = user_data_dir(appname, appauthor)
 sqlDataBaseFile = os.path.join(data_dir, storageDatabase)

print out sqlDataBaseFile and delete it.

Warning: your keys will be deleted at the same time, you can use sqlite3 to modify config in this database without rm the keys.
