@tipU Investors Update 19.03.2019: Website, Tokens and Airdrops :)

Hi guys, it's time for a quick round up of what features are coming for @tipU investors.

@tipU website

I know it's been a long time to wait but finally every @tipU investor will be able to easily monitor and manage his investment and delegation.

We use steemconnect to login and the app only requires permission to your account name. No voting or posting permissions are required.

Currently you can view only your investment's data like delegation, share, pending payout etc. Quite soon you will be able to manage the investment as well - set the currency you want to receive the payouts in (STEEM, SBD or both), how often the payouts should be done and the auto-reinvest ratio. Apart from that you will be able to make a deposit, delegation, request withdraw, payout etc.

Other sections of the website will allow users to promote their posts, use swap and learn about the @tipU tip and subscribe functionalities. All in one place :)

@tipU Tokens

The next cool feature coming this week are @tipU Tokens. They were created using steem-engine platform which allows anyone to create their own tokens on the steem blockchain - kinda like SMTs (if they ever come out).

Owning the token gives the @user the same profit as from STEEM POWER delegation. So if you have 100 tokens, you will receive profit like you would from 100 STEEM POWER delegation. Tokens are backed by @tipU own STEEM POWER that is used to generate profit for the token holders.

But why you should bother to own the tokens if you can just power up and delegate? Well, to convert STEEM POWER to liquid STEEM you need to power-down which takes 3 months. The tokens can be sold instantly and you can exchange them to liquid STEEM within few seconds - this can be done on steem-engine market. This is the main value of the token - earn profit for holding, trade anytime you want.

Also I'm planning to implement systems that will increase the tokens value over time. This can be achieved by:

• Increasing the STEEM POWER amount that backs each token. Currently each token is backed by 1 STEEM POWER by I've already coded a system that will increase this value by 0.1% each day. So after, for example, 7 days each token will be backed by 1.007 STEEM POWER and it will continue to grow. Please note that this process can be paused at some point, depending on how much own SP @tipU has.
• Limiting tokens supply. Users will be able to use tokens to request an upvote. Tokens used for this will be burned which will lower the overall supply -> more STEEM POWER for each token.

The possibilities are quite limitless - for example owning X tokens can give you right for slightly more profitable upvotes from @tipU. All of those mechanics are intended to keep the value of the token and reward its` holders. You can read more about @tipU tokens here although you will find all the info in the upcoming announcement post - you can already start to make tea because it's probably gonna be a long one :)

Airdrop

To kick things out I'm planning to distribute around 1800 tokens to each @tipU delegator. Basically each 1 SP delegated will give you 0.001 token (so 100 SP delegations will give 0.1 token, 2000 Sp delegation will give 2 tokens and so on).

As a delegator you will be able to just hold the tokens which will boost your daily payouts, send them to others or simply sell them on the steem-engine market for instant cash (steem).

Because @tipU STEEM POWER slowly grows (remember that each week @tipU powers down and sends large part of the gained STEEM to investors) and more tokens can be generated, I think that more airdrops will be coming in the future :)

One last thing - I'm intending to hold the majority of the tokens but I will also sell some. I would like to invest the profit so @tipU will have additional sources of income (apart from voting service). The additional income will be of course distributed to investors :) More about it in the next post.

Quick Profitability Check

Looks as usual ;) but! If you check user @lavater regularly you will notice that recently @tipU is trading blows with @boomerang:

Now, I don't know why @boomerang APR is so different between those 2 users (probably it has something to do with the size of delegation) but sometimes @boomerang even comes slightly on top. That's good! It keeps me motivated, I have to optimize the service and look for ways to increase the profit for investors. Competition keeps things interesting :)
